The earliest mention of a cricket match played on our present ground at Longmoor Lane is 1877. Games against Breaston and Stapleford are recorded as early as 1839.

Our modern pavilion is available to hire for functions, meetings and events year-round (weekdays during the cricket season).
The club purchased its ground in 1953 with the help of a grant from the National Playing Fields Association and a village-wide bucket collection. Cricket has been played here continuously ever since.
In 2002 our new pavilion was opened by Sir Ian Botham, a moment that has shaped the modern club and helps us welcome members, visiting teams and event guests to a first-class facility.
